The Apache helicopter is manufactured by the Boeing Company.

India has procured AH-64 Apache from Boeing company. It is also used by the US Army.

Political Council: It is headed by the PM. It comprises of other members of the Cabinet Committee on Security
Executive Council: It is headed by NSA (National Security Advisor). It also includes the Chairman of COSC (Chief of Staff Committee). COSC includes Chiefs of the three wings: Army, Navy, and Air force.

The Operational Arm Nuclear Command Authority (NCA) is Strategic Forces Command. It means that the decision to use Nuclear weapons is taken by the political council after the advice of the executive council and then finally the Strategic Forces Command can operate and use Nuclear weapons.

HAL LCH vs APACHE helicopter

Is HAL LCH (Light Combat Helicopter) is a better attack helicopter then american made Apache helicopter??

In 1999 Kargil war, Indian military realises that they need attack helicopters with which they can attack at high altitude areas. Since in kargil war they have no such helicopter they have to use Mi-17 utility helicopter as an attack helicopter.

So HAL in 2006 starts working on Light Combat helicopter LCH for attacking in such high altitude areas and then first LCH prototype completed its flight in 2010
